wang huaiming attends spic contractor safety management demonstration construction first promotion meeting
on april 9, 2019, the first promotion meeting on spic contractor safety management demonstration construction was held at tianji power plant, organized by sep. wei dong, deputy chief safety officer of spic safety, quality and environmental protection department, presided over the meeting, sep president wang huaiming delivered a welcoming address, deputy president guo baohong made a speech, and spic safety, quality and environmental protection department director general tao xinjian also attended and addressed the meeting.
wang huaiming expressed thanks to various leaders and experts for their care, instruction, support and help provided for the demonstration construction of tianji power plant. he said that sep will seriously implement the spirit of this promotion meeting, strictly follow various work safety arrangements of spic, actively learn from good practice and experience of associate companies, vigorously promote contractor safety management demonstration construction, further consolidate safety foundation, comprehensively enhance safety management, and guarantee the annual safety goal of "zero casualty".
at the meeting, five subsidiaries of spic including sep, spic guangxi company, spic nei mongol energy, spic yuanda environmental protection, spic nuclear power demonstration plant, and four sub-subsidiaries of spic including tianji power plant, xingan wind power company, zhahanaoer coal mining company and spic yuandan environmental protection engineering, gave speeches respectively on good practice, existing problems and opinions and suggestions relating to contractor safety management construction. spic supplies management department, nuclear energy safety and development department, thermal power department, hydropower and new energy department, coordination industry department and audit department put forward their respective requirements on contractor safety management demonstration construction. and spic safety, quality and environmental protection department announced the work program on promoting contractor safety management demonstration construction.
tao xinjian made the concluding remark by introducing the background and development process of contractor safety management demonstration construction, commenting on the speeches by various contractor safety management demonstration companies, instructing everyone to learn the main content of guidance on contractor safety management, and analyzing major problems existing in contractor safety management.

tao stressed that all the companies should convey the meeting spirit to the grass-roots units, convert to effective safety management methods, improve spic safety management performance, and lay a solid foundation for constructing spic into a first-class clean energy enterprise with global competitiveness.
before the meeting, related meeting participants went to production site to inspect the safety management demonstration construction work of coal handling maintenance project department, thermal control maintenance project department and sep operation chemical testing team. accompanied by wang huaiming, tao listened to the work report by the leaders of coal handling maintenance project department and thermal control maintenance project department, and held talks with them. he spoke highly of tianji power plant for contractor safety management demonstration construction work, and asked the power plant to summarize and refine their safety management experience and convert to propagable result.
